"The weapons of war must be abolished, before they abolish us."

 Civil war in Syria
Its been six years since the outbreak of the civil war in Syria. The country has become the battle ground between Bashar Al-Assad, the opposition and ‘terrorists’. Thousands of people lost their life, families are separated, bombing and throwing of grenades has become the true culture and a way of living in the country. Living there for many has become life threatening.  Currently there is no government and as results, many are fleeing to the peripheral countries such as Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon to seek refuge.

Where is the United Nation to resolve this insanity?  In 2012 the UN Security Council has called for the induction of ‘2012 Geneva Communique’ to help resolve the issue but the talks broke down. In an attempt to find the solution to this humanitarian crisis in Syria, about four world super powers emerged. USA, Russia, Turkey and Iran. USA and Russia were reported to have arranged the ‘proximity’ talk with the opposition in an attempt to bring peace and to stop the massacre, however nothing seemed to be working as talks had broken up.  So many attempts have been done after which include the UN-mediated talks but nothing materialised.

Why is it so difficult to find the solution to end this holocaust in Syria?  To find the answer lets go on the ground and observe the situation if whether or not there is help from US and the likes. When there are killings of people in a country there should be weapons such as guns, bombs, deadly chemicals that ends human life like John F Kennedy said "The weapons of war must be abolished, before they abolish us." Where are the weapons coming from then?

USA is reported to have provided military assistance to ‘moderate’ rebels and conducted air strikes in 2014. Saudi Arabia has allocated military and financial support in the country according to reports. Turkey did the same when they send their defence delegates to send those with Islamist ideology away. According to BBC, Iran has provided with ‘subsidised’ weapons. Russia has also launched certain air strikes targeted on ‘terrorists’.

Isn’t funny that you and me now we have the same question? Is sending weapons, providing with military assistance, conducting one too many air strikes and attacking people with deadly chemicals trying to end the killings and bringing peace upon the Arab country? This is totally an abuse an abuse of power. How could the provision of weapons end this mass killing? This is a joke.

Are these actions not helping the country to destabilise? Apparently these action will never bring peace, unity and stability in Syria, but the will continue bringing turmoil, mass killing and destabilisation. There is no government in Syria as such there is no constitution. Living in the country is living under a snap short. Young children go to school to learn how to pull a trigger and not study towards dreamed careers. They study how to become good soldiers not to become teacher, lawyers etc. Actually there is nothing, absolutely nothing in Syria except bombed structures, falling buildings and people on the streets killing brothers and sisters. About 470 000 death were recorded according to Think-Tank in 2016.

My wish for Syria is that USA, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Turkey and Iran should back down ‘cause what they are doing is not honourable. What they are doing is not helping but to try to destabilise the country for certain interests just like what happened in Libya when Jorge W Bush was still the US president. It’s not international war but ‘Civil WAR’. Let they themselves find the root of the problem and be the ones to find the solution of their own problems. Shame on you the so called ‘world power’

No one has changed the SABC like Hlaudi.

The controversial Hlaudi Motsoeneng.

The day the SABC started to sink like a titanic was the day the public broadcaster introduced the 90% local on its media platform which includes radio, television, and its digital media. The idea was to give local content an exposer and to show the entire world how diverse South Africa is.

According to the then SABC Chief Operations Officer, Hlaudi Motsoeneng: “The SABC has taken a radical decision about its local content offering across all its radio, television and digital platform.  Many people across SA eulogised motsoeneng. He was a hero and many said he was a game changer more specifically local artists. But how real the 90% local was? From an eye of a different perspective instead the decision was never taken to benefit local artists even though it sounded like.

It was with no reasonable doubt that the appointment of Hlaudi Motsoeneng as SABC COO was completely ‘irrational’. To prove that the Democratic alliance court bid to remove Hlaudi as he wasn’t fit to hold the position went successful. So one would argue that motsoeneng as an eye opener he was thoughtful in bringing the idea. He knew from the day he was appointed to the public broadcasters’ top position that the appointment was never done on merit and the DA would do everything in its power to try to impeach him.

As such the only possible way to mobilise people who apparently would support and buy him time was the ‘90% local’. He was probably not a fan of the so called 90% local. He was just using people to support him because he knew public interest would keep him within the SABC, but thanks to those who fought for the uncalled for behaviour within the public broadcaster. ‘The controversial motsoeneng’ is gone.

However, it is unfortunate that the SABC has lost about 200 million through the 90% local yet the man still have the guts to say ‘ no one has changed the SABC like he has’.

Germany first confederation cup victory ever!

Whats a fabulous and a mind blowing performance in what can be said to as 'unilateral performance' between Germany  and Chile . The South American side started on fire putting German teens under a massive lock down with Vidal and Sunchez trying to crack the German defense. The match went on break with both teams on level terms.

It never last for long however for Germany Lars Stindl to just tap-in for goals after a defensive mistake by Chile. The team had chances on several occasions including Sanchez free kick which was brilliantly denied by German goal stopper Ter Stegen. At the and the European side Germany  were just compact enough to defend their narrow lead.

Germany 1-0 Chile .

The Confederation cup is done dusted Germany are the champions. Now we star building to the Major And the big occasion in the history of football, The FIFA word cup Russian .

S.A becoming a 'cannibal state'?

The devil has infiltrated the Nation!
Killing has become like a game.  The act has generated a lot of fortune and almost all papers have recently been headlined ‘who killed who?’. Almost every day we grieve for the slain of our brothers and sisters as a result of such madness.  I wonder where we have transgressed to deserve such insanity.

Human life is no longer respected as before. A life could be taken in just a few seconds and perpetrators always get away with these cruel acts. I therefore ask myself whether we are becoming a cannibal state where human beings eat people’s meat. Has the devil really infiltrated our nation?  But who is the devil anyway? Because we have an inclination that in whatsoever bad deeds we commit, we always blame it on the so called ‘Satan’?

There are notwithstanding claims that these slaughterings are not just mere killings, but they are an attempt to take some classified human parts for business interest. This is highly blamed on foreigners who own business in our bleeding land. However, how true are these claims? Are they not using the word ‘foreigners’ to hide their true colours? Well, Perhaps.

This is a humanitarian crisis. It requires community, government and organisations to become one to fight this. If we don’t stand tall and condemn this act, our land and not just land but our beautiful land will exsanguinate.
